Export Base of Natural Stone, Natural Stone Fair opens with 926 companies!

The boom in construction industry in the last two years especially in the Middle Eastern and North African countries has led international construction and natural stone companies to Turkey. Members of the industry are coming together between October 27th and 30th, 2011 at the 8th International Marble, Natural Stone Products & Technologies Fair CNR EXPO Istanbul in Turkey attracting attention and whetting appetite of multinational corporations with its rich natural stone reserves. Including the agencies such as Italian Antolini Luigi, one of the giants of natural stone world, 926 companies will bargain with the customers from 47 countries such as Italy, France, Brazil, Kuwait and Russia at the fair.

In Turkey holding one third of world's natural stone reserves, the industry will meet national and international companies at Natural Stone Fair distinguished with its export fair characteristics. Focusing on the goal of becoming the biggest and most eminent fair in its field, the organization is held by CNR Ekspo Fuarcilik, a CNR Holding company, with assistance of T.R. Ministry of Economy, IMMIB (Mineral and metal exporters association of Istanbul) and KOSGEB.



Antolini Luigi, prefers Natural Stone for new markets
Holding marble quarries in various countries all over the world and known for designs, Italian marble industry giant, Antolini Luigi also participates in Natural Stone. Becoming a focus of attention at every fair he attended and popular with his "live marble" show, Luigi, attends the fair both to enter new markets and to take advantage of marble diversity in Turkey.

Leading companies in the industry, Mesta, Fimar, Travertine, Çiftyildiz Mermer, Bross, Fimersan, Basaranlar, Portsan, Alacakaya, Dimer, Çekiçler, Eyüpoglu, Ilci, Sayakçi, Reisoglu, Canel, Ravini, Yüce Marble, TMG and Hürok are also major participants of the fair.

40% Growth
The fair with a growth of 40%, is held at a total of 80 thousand square meters field including the block display section. A total of 50 thousand visitors, 10 thousand of which are foreigners, are expected to attend Natural Stone Fair this year.

Buyers Delegation countries of Natural Stone Fair are Albania, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belarus, Belgium, Brazil, Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Croatia, Egypt, England, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Indonesia, Iraq, Iran, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Libya, Macedonia, Malaysia, Moldova, Morocco, Holland, Palestine, Poland, Qatar, Romania, Russian Federation, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Syria, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, UAE and Ukraine.

Euroroc, holds Board of Directors' meeting at this fair
Euroroc (European& International Federation of Natural Stone) consisting of natural stone industry associations from 19 countries will hold its board of directors meeting at Natural Stone Fair between October 27th and 30th. Authorities from the institution including major associations such as Marmomacc and Finnstone agree on the fact that Turkey should join the federation.

Product groups of Natural Stone Fair are, granite, marble, slate, blocks (stone, marble, granite), interior and exterior coating, plate products, plate floor and coating, travertine, computer assisted technologies, block cutting machines, abrasives, packaging systems, electrical hand tools, diamonds, hydraulic systems, construction equipments, generators, marble machines, onix, automatic equipments, grinding machines, adhesives and stone pit equipments.

Natural Stone Fair is open to visits at 10.00-19.00 hours between October 27th through 29th and at 10.00-18.00 hours on October 30th at CNR EXPO Istanbul.
